Since 2002, the Isthmus Vocal Ensemble has maintained a remarkable tenure as one of Madison's most elusive yet enduring summer musical institutions.
The Isthmus Vocal Ensemble is built from the great choral traditions of Robert Fountain and other luminaries with some of the Midwest's top singers for a brief, intensive rehearsal period. The result: two sparkling performances that linger with audiences throughout the year. Artistic Director Mike McGaghie continues to challenge the choir and the audience with intricately sculpted thematic journeys.
